A VISUAL DIARY OF CINEMATIC PHOTOGRAPHY AND POETRY
Amber Della Vita is a multidisciplinary artist and visual storyteller building a personal mythology through photography, film, poetry and visual art.
I collect the moments that are usually left behind: a city after midnight, a hotel room after everyone has gone, a road disappearing into dusk, a sentence that refuses to leave. Through self portraiture, cinematic photography and visual storytelling, these fragments become images, words and objects, traces of love, longing, memory and becoming.
Together, they form an evolving world, romantic, imperfect, sensual and slightly unknown.
Moving between self portrait photography, fine art photography and film, I explore how ordinary scenes can hold memory, desire and emotional tension. Visual poetry becomes a meeting place between image and language, where cinematic photography and visual storytelling transform fleeting experiences into something that can be revisited. Each chapter becomes part of a growing visual archive, shaped by places, intimacy and the stories we carry with us.
THE WORLD
An evolving personal mythology.
PHOTOGRAPHY · FILM · POETRY · PLACES · ART
A life collected in chapters.
01 — FRAGMENTS
Moments before they become memories.
Cinematic photography, self-portraits, moving images and fragments of everyday life — preserved somewhere between reality and memory.
02 — WORDS
What cannot be photographed.
Poetry, prose and intimate observations on love, longing, memory, loss and becoming — words for everything an image cannot hold.
03 — PLACES
Somewhere between here and elsewhere.
Cities after midnight, hotel rooms, winding roads, coastlines and liminal spaces — places experienced as fragments of a story rather than destinations.
04 — ART
What remains after the moment.
Paintings, objects and visual poetry shaped by memory, symbols and personal mythology — turning fragments of lived experience into something that can remain.
SELECTED WORKS.

The racket. The lipstick. The perfume.
Different rituals, same intention:
to enter the world beautifully.
Amber Della Vita — a visual diary of fashion, beauty, travel and the poetry hidden in everyday life.

There is always a moment before the story begins —
lipstick, perfume, a mirror,
and the quiet decision of who you want to become tonight.
Amber Della Vita — beauty, femininity and cinematic everyday rituals.

Some stories are meant to be watched.
Others are meant to be lived.
SHE BUILT THE CINEMA. THEN STEPPED INSIDE IT.
From the screen to the afterparty — a visual diary of glamour, desire and the beautiful moments that happen after midnight.

Champagne, steam, silence.
The scene continues long after everyone has gone home.

THE THEMES
What the work returns to.
01 — ROMANCE
Not an escape from reality, but another way of seeing it.
Romanticism, feminine sensuality and visual storytelling become a language for desire, beauty and the lives we imagine beyond the ordinary.
02 — MEMORY
Some things disappear. Others change shape.
Through cinematic photography, words and visual art, memory becomes personal mythology — preserving what time would otherwise leave behind.
03 — THE UNKNOWN
The space between leaving and arriving.
Liminal spaces, unfamiliar places and unfinished stories become invitations to wonder, longing and everything that has not happened yet.
Together, they form the recurring language of Amber Della Vita — romance, memory and the unknown.

ENTER a whole new WORLD
South Africa taught me that the wild is precious precisely because it was never meant to belong to us. Some encounters stay with you long after the journey ends. — Amber Della Vita

THERE’S MORE OUT THERE.

CONTINUE THROUGH PLACES, ENCOUNTERS, WILDLIFE AND VISUAL STORIES, FRAGMENTS OF A WORLD STILL WAITING TO BE UNDERSTOOD.
I have always wanted to see the world closely, not only its cities, but its wilderness, its animals, its stories and the lives that exist beyond my own. In South Africa, holding this little lion for a moment reminded me how precious the wild really is. We travel to witness it, never to own it.
Some places change the way you look at the world without asking for anything in return. They remind you that beauty can be powerful, fragile and completely indifferent to us. Perhaps that is part of why I keep travelling, to be confronted with everything that exists beyond the limits of my own life.
There is always another chapter. And somewhere, another world still waiting to be understood.
